Originally from Scotland, New Zealand has been my home for the past 24 years. I have been covering the best parties and events for the past 15 years. From Louis Vuitton parties at the Americas Cup, to the opening of prestigious fashion houses, such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Coach. Client have includes Heidi Klum, and Jane Seymour. Events and editorial take up the best part of my work, however I also shoot Weddings, Boudoir, glamour and swimwear for clients. On any spare time I am tracking swell conditions on the West Coast of Auckland. Surf photography actually got me interested in becoming a photographer as a lifetime career. I have travelled to many of the best surf beaches in the world. Ocean scapes and NZ bird life also take up a big part of my free time. Clients include Moet, Veuve Clicquot, Mercedes Benz and BMW.
One of the only few redeeming features about Winter is the Awards season. Voyager Awards and Denizen Heroes have just been. The Lewisham. KEA and Newmarket Business Awards just around the corner. What a great excuse to dress up. You can't beat a man in a Tux with his partner looking a million dollars. There is something about a Black Tie party that brings out the best in us all. Maybe it's the formal attire, the elegant location. The air of sophistication around the room. The polite chit chat and the clinking of champange flutes.
